Christmas in LaPine, OR

Many of you know that my dad and his wife, suzan have stopped sailing and have just built a house in La Pine, which is just down the road from Sunriver. So, we were lucky enough to drive over there with my sister and Luke, on Dec. 26th to be able to spend Christmas there. They ordered up lots of snow for us, and the 8 of us invaded their 2 bed/2 bath home for 24 hours. We had a great time. Carson made a snow face by just falling face first into some snow and we were amazed at how clear it came out--isn't it weird? creepy kinda. We played "Catch Phrase", did some sledding, lots of snacking, hot cocoa, a puzzle, and we all had a great time together. The drive wasn't bad at all, and when it says "chains required" brett will tell you that, that is a guideline for most drivers but he is unlike most drivers.

Love the pictures!!! There so real I feel like I was there. Oh wait, I was! Love the action shot of Luke flying down the hill. Have fun in Arizona!
